
Path Of The Sword
Puzzle game about moving flower POTS to the right spots with a unique chain mechanic!
Almost everything below can be found in the game itself (from version 0.10). In menu there is an INFO button for complex information and in the game (as solving a level) you can press the H key for controls and object information.
Credits:
- Music (not sound effects) was made by the creator (me) using the recordings of the harph tones from the project Etherealwinds Harph II: Community Edition by Versilian Studios and a musician Jordi Francis ("Etherealwinds").
- Everything else was made by the creator (me) using the tools disclosed below.
Level difficulty:
- Levels on the main path should be easier than the side levels for smooth playing. If you think that some are too hard, feel free to write a comment about it.
- Levels can be skipped by pressing the "P" key.
- In the downloadable version, you can see a step of the solution by pressing the "V" key. This can be done only when you haven't made any moves yet.
Level data:
- In the downloadable version, data about completed levels are automatically stored in a special directory. It is located at PathOfTheSword_Data/StreamingAssets/LevelData.
- To manually save level data on your device, press enter in the level select and copy the text in the text field to a file on your device.
- To load level data from your device, press enter in the level select and use the file explorer, if you are in the downloadable version. For the web version you have to delete all text in the text field and paste in your level data.
Languages:
- Only the downloadable version has adjustable language (for technical reasons).
Custom levels:
- Custom levels can be created and accessed only in downloadable version (for technical reasons). Use buttons CREATE and LOAD in the menu.
Solution step recordings:
- This can be done only in the downloadable version.
- You can record your solution of any level by pressing "F" and solving the level. Then you can acces its file at PathOfTheSword_Data/StreamingAssets/StepRecords.
- Right now, the record is just some numbers, but in the future I will try to add an option to load a custom level solution.
- If you want, you can edit official solutions located in the folder at PathOfTheSword_Data/StreamingAssets/LevelSolutions. Do NOT rename the files.
Note that i hade to migrate project to a higher Unity version, so some bugs may have appeared in the web build. The windows build should be fine, since it was done before migration.

nice sokoban-type game. currently stuck on B3 so thanks for saving progress so that i can revisit and pick up where i left off (i played on WIN; unsure if save works on HTML version). consider tagging as Sokoban so that it gets some well-deserved exposure, adding a little sound to polish it up? otherwise, plays well & nice challenge. thanks for sharing :)
